Purple Tuesday - Ongoing Commitments to Disabled-Friendly Shopping

Purple Tuesday 2019 is aninternational call to action, focused on changing the customer experience fordisabled people. It will involve organisations of all sizes and from allsectors taking decisive, practical actions to meet the needs of disabledcustomers.

We are using Purple Tuesday tolaunch our accessibility commitments for Nov 19 – Oct 20. We will then planfurther commitments for Nov 20 onwards next year. These commitments are;

  • Local disabled community carrying out a mystery shopper visit (designed by them) at all stores in Centre Court, giving us individual feedback on each one. We as a management team will then work with the tenants to make improvements where required.
  • Refurbishment of our accessible toilets with local customers directly involved in the design process
  • Centre Court management team directly engaging with local disabled customers to ensure we understand their needs and wishes. This will likely take the form of attending local charity and focus group meetings
